Dr. Kory Stassi grew up in Bethalto, Illinois and graduated from Civic Memorial High School in 2007. He was involved in many academic and athletic activities during his many years in the Bethalto School District. He and his wife, Erika, still volunteer with local athletic groups, as it is one of their many passions. Dr. Kory went on to college at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri where he competed on their Shooting team. He won an individual national championship and his team won the team national championship the same year. Dr. Kory finished college at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He continued his studies at Logan College of Chiropractic where he received another Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology and in 2015 graduated with honors as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Kory and his wife continue to live in Bethalto, Illinois. Dr. Kory hopes to help people in and near his hometown live life to the best of their capabilities. He promotes preventative health and chiropractic wellness to ensure that his patients are capable of living an enjoyable and healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Ross Bruno is from Tampa, FL and graduated from Brandon Senior High School in 2012. He was a part of the nationally known Brandon HS wrestling team where he ended as Florida’s first ever 5x state champion. Dr. Ross went on to wrestle all 4 years at the University of Michigan where he was a 2015 All-American at the 133 lb. weight class. After graduating from UofM in 2016, he became a graduate assistant wrestling coach at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. During his time at SIUe (2016-2018), Dr. Ross also obtained a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology. He then started school at Logan College of Chiropractic in the spring of 2018 and graduated Magna Cum Laude in August of 2021. During his time in chiropractic school, Dr. Ross attended countless hours of weekend courses/seminars. These courses included training in acupuncture, dry needling, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), the McKenzie Institute (MDT), Motion Palpation Institute, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and Active Release Technique (ART). Dr. Ross also holds a certification from the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). The CSCS is the gold standard certification in regards to amateur and professional strength & conditioning. Dr. Ross’ professional mission is to guide patients on their journey out of pain and into an active lifestyle.
Dr. Ross and his wife, Christina, live in Edwardsville, IL with their 3 fur babies. They enjoy walking the dog, going to the gym, and frequenting all of the great attractions in downtown St. Louis.
Jess joined our team in March of 2021. She grew up in Troy, MO. She’s worked in the healthcare field for 5 years prior to joining our practice. She is happily married to her best friend Dustin and they share two boys together, Leland and Sawyer. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cheering on her son during wrestling and baseball season, cruising, and working out. She can be found with a smile on her face moving patients around the office.
Marci joined our team in May of 2019. Marci grew up in Edwardsville and worked in the dental field for 10 years before coming to our office. She is married to her husband Rich and they have 3 children. She enjoys camping, attending her kids sporting events and hanging out with friends and family. You can find Marci at the front desk checking patients in and out and answering the phones. Marci loves welcoming patients and getting to know each and every one of them.
Tommi is a graduate of The Body Therapy Center in Swansea, IL 2012. She joined our practice in August 2017. She has experience in working in both a chiropractic and spa setting. She spends a lot of time working with people who suffer from chronic pain in the neck and shoulders, and/or back pain, headaches and migraines. She provides her clients with Swedish, Deep Tissue, Cupping and Pre- and Post-Natal massage, and a variety of body treatments. Tommi also has her Bachelor Degree in Business from Eastern Illinois University. She currently lives in Bethalto, IL with her husband Jacob and two children Noah and Isabella. She is very active in her children's lives. She lost her mother in 2011. Her mother suffered from 7 compression fractures in her back before she passed away. This is when she decided to pursue a degree in massage to be able to help people in chronic pain. She is currently building a successful massage practice and looks forward to helping those in pain or those who come in to just relax.
